Introduction |
|
When Fukushima Medical College was founded,
the Department of Humanities and the Department
of Social Sciences were established separately.
But in 1958 two departments were integrated into
the Department of Humanities and Social sciences.
Our department now is composed of the following
members of faculty: Professor FUJINO Mitsuko,
Associate Professor FUKUDA Toshiaki and Lecturer
SUENAGA Keiko.
The patient's dignity and right shall be respected
in medical care and education. It is the duty
of our department to conduct educations and researches
in order to protect the patient's dignity in the
medical care and education of Fukusima Medical
University. |

Education |
|
The currently available subjects are Law, Ethics,
Philosophy, and History of Views about life and
death, History of Views about body and sickness,
etc. The subjects amount to a total of 8 in humanities
and 8 in social sciences.
We will open new courses, Bioethics and Medical
Law in 2002. |
