Introduction |
|
| Surgical Center is a central division that
carries out management responsibilities so that
the operations of each department may be carried
out smoothly. Our Center is the clean hall type
with a supply hall in the center, twelve operating
rooms and a passageway. Each operating room and
supply hall are clean zones, and the very high
degree of cleanliness is well maintained. The
number of patients operated on is gradually increasing
in our center. However, we are doing our best
for safety management in collaboration with anesthetists
and surgeons. |

Research |
|
| We have investigated the establishment of a
nursing system in organ transplantation, defrosting
procedures for fresh frozen plasma, environmental
management of the surgical center, reconsideration
of overtime work by our nursing staff, evaluation
of the efficacy of the disinfectant used in surgical
hand washing, reconsideration of the operation
schedule to utilize each operating room effectively,
and guidelines for surgical patient identification
and transport procedure. |

Education |
|
| Inspection of early Polyclinic (1st year) is
carried out by the vice-director of our center
and clinical education of bedside learning (primary
course of the 5th year and advanced course of
the 6th year) is carried out by doctors of each
department in our center. |
