２月６日に、トルコ南部および北西シリアで発生した大地震につきまして、犠牲となられた皆様に対し深く哀悼の意を表するとともに、厳しい環境下にある被災者の方々に対して心よりお見舞い申し上げます。2011年に東日本大震災を経験し、医療の面から地域の復興を支えている福島県立医科大学といたしましても可能な限りの支援に努めてまいります。

A message to the people of Turkey and Syria affected by the 2023 earthquake disaster

To all those affected by the earthquake of February 6 and its many aftershocks‚ we send heartfelt condolences from Fukushima Medical University. People living in southern Turkey and northwestern Syria‚ along with their families and friends around the world‚ are in anguish over lives lost‚ and livelihoods interrupted. Count us among your friends who share in the anguish. Mindful of the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake‚ we stand with our government and our people to acknowledge your sorrow and support your recovery.
