ルース米国駐日大使が来学されました。（U.S.Ambassador Roos visits Fukushima Medical University）

1月17日（火）ルース米国駐日大使が来学され、医学部、看護学部の学生約300人と意見交換を行いました。冒頭、大使から「これからの将来を担うのは学生の皆さんです」との激励のメッセージがあり意見交換が始まりました。大使への質問は殆どが英語で行われ、放射線の問題や将来についての考え方、学生の米国への留学などについて意見を取り交わしました。最後には学生全員が大使を囲み記念撮影を行いました。


Fukushima Medical University was honored by the U.S. Ambassador John V. Roos’ visit to hold a dialogue with its students on January 17，2012. At the beginning of the dialogue， Ambassador Roos encouraged the students with a strong message， saying “Every one of you is a leader of the future.” Discussions were made on various topics including radiation issues， students’ outlook on their future， and initiatives to facilitate student exchange between the U.S. and Japan. At the end of the meeting， Ambassador Roos kindly allowed all of the students attending to take pictures with him.
